Pricing

Priced per business, not per seat.

Your estimator, your office manager and your foreman all work off the same jobs, the same price book and the same job numbers. All prices are NZD per month and exclude GST.

RoofMap is NZ$79, $149, $299 or $549 a month plus GST, depending on what you need it to do and how many people need a login. Measure is just the tape measure, for the roofer who quotes in another system. Trade and up take the place of an aerial measuring service, a proposal tool and — as you grow — the scheduling and shared-inbox side of a job-management system. Measuring is included on every plan with no cap and no per-roof fee — the part that usually costs the most elsewhere.

Month to month. No contract and no lock-in — cancel any time and stop paying.

Every plan starts with 14 days of Team, free — no card. Five people, Fergus and the schedule board included. Nothing is charged until you pick a plan.

The founding rate is 30% off your first 12 months on monthly billing, then the standard rate. Prefer to pay yearly? Two months free instead — Trade $1,490, Team $2,990, Business $5,490 a year + GST. It is one or the other, not both.

What it replaces

The measuring is the part that usually costs.

Overseas roof-measuring services sell you a report per roof — roughly NZ$40 to $65 each, more for anything complicated, and more again if you want it back the same day. Twenty roofs in a month is $800 to $1,300, and you have bought measurements only: no cut list, no order, no quote, and nothing your customer can sign.

And measuring is only where it starts. The same drawing becomes the cut list, the merchant order, the customer proposal and the invoice — and on Team and up, the jobs go straight onto the schedule board. That is a measuring service, a proposal tool and the running of the job on one bill, priced for the whole company rather than per seat.

One honest difference before the table: a measuring service draws the roof for you. In RoofMap, you trace it — a few minutes over the aerial, with the software doing the arithmetic. That is why it can be included on every plan with no cap: nobody is sitting in an office drawing your roof, so nobody needs paying per roof.

Questions

The things worth asking before you commit.

Is measuring charged per roof?

No. Measuring is included on every plan, with no cap and no per-report fee. Draw as many roofs as you like, on as many jobs as you like.

Is it priced per user?

No — per business. One subscription covers the company up to the seats on the plan. Trade is one login, Team is up to five, Business is up to fifteen. More than that, or more than one branch, is Enterprise — talk to us.

Do I need Fergus or another job management system?

No. RoofMap works on its own: the home board is your job list, the schedule board pencils in the work, and job files hold the council plans, the old quote and anything else that belongs to the job.

If you do run Fergus, jobs, photos and job packs pass between the two. How that works.

You are a roofing company. Can you see my jobs and my prices?

No. RoofMap is built by a working roofer in Northland, and that is exactly why this is worth answering properly rather than with a reassurance.

Every job, drawing, quote and price book is walled off by the database itself, not just by the app — the founder's own roofing business holds an ordinary account with the same walls around it. The support screens we run the service from show accounts, never anyone's work: no job, no quote, no price, no homeowner. An automated test pushes a job full of customer details and prices through every one of those screens and fails the build if any of it comes back out.

The honest caveat, because there always is one: somebody has to be able to reach the database to restore a backup or fix a broken save. That is one or two people, it exists to run the service, and if we ever need to look at something of yours to fix a fault you have reported, we will ask you first. The whole answer is in the Privacy Policy.

What happens to my jobs if I stop subscribing?

They are yours. You can export them, and the Privacy Policy sets out how to ask for a copy or a deletion under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Are the prices in New Zealand dollars?

Yes, and they exclude GST. RoofMap is built for New Zealand roofing only — NZ profiles, NZ steel grades, NZ coastal corrosion zones and 15% GST throughout.

What is in the trial?

Fourteen days of Team: up to five people, shared jobs and price book, the schedule board and the Fergus link. No card. A finished sample job is inside so you can see a quote, a cut list and a material order before you draw your own.

What happens to my jobs when the trial ends?

They stay yours. You can still sign in, open every job and download the quotes, job packs and orders as PDFs. Saving new work waits until you pick a plan.

Are the supplier prices inside real?

They are real New Zealand trade rates, and they are a starting point, not your prices. Check them against your merchant before you send a quote — or book a setup call and we load your own rates with you.

Can I change plan later?

Yes, from Settings, at any time. Adding people moves you up when you pass the seats on your plan; dropping back down is the same screen.

Try it on a real roof first.

Fourteen days free, no card, and a worked example already inside. 30% off your first 12 months when you pick a plan, then the standard rate.
